The day I said the salvation prayer, (acknowledged my sins, repented and asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior) was the day I started the most incredible journey of my life. I willingly opened my heart and my life to Jesus and since then my life changed in an awesome, amazing way.

My life has been amazing and I owe it all to Jesus. After all of the traumatic things that my children and I have been through, Jesus came into our lives and healed us from all of the emotional hurts and bruises, and delivered us from all fear and torment. He did such a cleansing and healing work in us, that it doesn’t seem like all of those events happened to us. The healing and deliverance didn’t happen overnight mind you, but I never gave up and He never gave up on me.

The joy that has come into my life from Jesus is awesome! The joy of the Lord is my strength!(Nehemiah 8:10) I have never known true happiness, true joy, or true fulfillment, before Jesus. Even on days that I feel like I am carrying a heavy burden, or a crisis may arise, I know and feel Jesus is with me, and joy comes bubbling up deep within me, Now with Him in my life, my first love, there isn’t a day that goes by that I am without joy, and my life is very fulfilling. Not to say that I don’t want to marry again someday, because I do. I am complete in Jesus, so when I meet the man He has chosen to be my husband, who is also complete in Jesus, it will be explosive!

Every day is a new journey with Jesus, and every morning when I wake up, I am so excited to start my new day, my new incredible journey!
